Diagnosis and Treatment of Brugada Syndrome: Review of the Literature

Brugada syndrome is a genetic disorder that causes abnormalities in the correct functioning of electrical system heart, which can end health complications such as arrythmias, syncope or, most severe cases, sudden death. Nowadays, stratification risks derived from this disease still great challenge due to disorder's complex nature influenced by several factors. Such investigations have been able obtain evidence role autonomic imbalance plays pathology disorder. Subsequently, Matlab code inspired pre-existing algorithms was written, carrying out research on methods currently used detect syndrome, order study different biomarkers obtained through simple and non-invasive procedure electrocardiogram(EKG). After study, length QRS T wave, absolute area , RMS amplitude, well QT QTc segments each patients´ EKGs were measured.
